I always get excited when something like this happens, especially when I was kid. I guess it was because a flood in the compound meant no school and I could run around and play in the water, ride my bike and make a fountain of water come up behind me, and catch fishes that had swam out of the "klong" on to the roads.
The last time this happened was during my parents 30th Wedding Anniversary. Except I think it's worse this time because even the road beside our house was covered in water.
It was funny too because the window at the head of our bed was wide open and as the rain was falling and the wind was blowing it got onto my arm just when I was having a dream about a meeting with monster and I thought the rain on my arm was the monster's saliva. Hehe :)
As for now the waters are subsiding and I should be getting to work some time soon. Good morning everyone!
